Friday The Thirteenth

What a busy Friday the Thirteenth we had here at Rose City Tattoo and this being the third Friday the 13th his year.Sean was busy doing the  # 13 on what looked like an endless line of customers. Me I was doing this sugar skull on the inside of the upper arm. Sugar Skulls are a tradition candy made to celabrate the Day of The Dead . They have become very popular as tattoos, with their bright colored decorations they really pop out as a tattoo.

Tattoos and Spirituality

Lotus Flower tattoo This Tibetan Style skull and lotus flower expresses an old world spirituality, done in black and grey it will have a nice soft look under his arm. When working on an entire sleeve tattoo, I like to work in stages with each stage somewhat finished. This way the collector is not walking around with unfinished work.We all have enough unfinished thing to deal with.
Tribal cross tattoo This tribal cross was brought to me to do. The original drawing was a pen ink sketch and I was excited to do it,as you can see it came out cool. This is his first tattoo, a very good choice, don't you think?

Some cool Tribal Tattoo Designs

Recently I have been doing a number of Tribal Tattoo Designs. Some tribal Tattoos have history and meaning behind them and if you are so inclined to get one, you should know the meaning behind your tattoo. Many of thew designs I use for tribal tattoos I come up with on my own but sometimes I take the time to research an authentic tribal tattoo motif. Using tribal designs to make something new and original can be rewarding and end up with a very unique design.
