Sugar Skull Tattoo

The Day of the Dead.   Check out the bright colors on this sugar skull tattoo. Tattooed under the arm these color will be protected from the sun. These tattoo are very popular these days and I really enjoy tattooing the artwork. Mostly I like to start with the ideas of my customer and then put my own touches to the tattoo work.

Friday The Thirteenth

What a busy Friday the Thirteenth we had here at Rose City Tattoo and this being the third Friday the 13th his year.Sean was busy doing the  # 13 on what looked like an endless line of customers. Me I was doing this sugar skull on the inside of the upper arm. Sugar Skulls are a tradition candy made to celabrate the Day of The Dead . They have become very popular as tattoos, with their bright colored decorations they really pop out as a tattoo.

Sugar Skull

day of the dead
A very cool tattoo. Celebrating the Day of the Dead, sugar skulls are often decorated to show respect of the spirit world.
