Dark tattoos are a lot of fun to do, I don't always know where they will end. Working to have depth is important to set off the tattoo. If you take a closer look you will find things hiden in the smoke and swirls. 
Black and grey tattoo work take a certain subtleness, making sure you don't lose the details.
