Jukebox Tattoo Theme

Rock and Roll will always play a big roll in tattoos, like this musical themed tattoo. The old school Jukebox and microphone  has been blended into one tattoo by adding a checker board dance floor and music notes. I'll be adding to this soon, the future additions will finish a lower leg sleeve tattoo.

Twin Dragons Showing Balance

I love tattooing dragons. But there is a certain challenge when I have to tattoo matching tattoos and or mirror image tattoo designs. It sometimes plays with your head when you have to do things opposite the way you had just tattooed.
Keeping with the black and gray tattoo style we set out to add balance to this tattoo.  Martial Arts played a big part in this tattoo selection, as in martial arts we will continue on our path...

Friday

Ye Old Jukebox Tattoo

Classic old school jukeboxis the subject of this musical tattoo. As you saw in an older post of the antique microphone, we added this to the otherside of the lower leg. Next we will be adding music note and a checkerboard dance floor.
Music is a large part of Rose City Tattoo, with some cutting edge musicians stopping by and getting tattooed.

This is turning out to be a real cool tattoo!

Radio Star

So I was listening to the radio this morning and called in. Hopefully some of you heard me plug this blog and Rose City Tattoo. Let me know if you did.

Wednesday

Stars Imprinted into the Skin

Stars are very popular tattoos these days and it seem that I am doing some every couple of days. These stars were made to look like they have been chiseled into rock. Or burned into the skin. Cool looking tattoo.

Tuesday

Music's influence on tattoos. Rock and Roll Tattoo

Classic old school microphone tattoo.
Black and gray tattoo style showing off the old rockabilly style from the 1950s.
Here I was having some fun, with a spur of the moment tattoo, creating a fresh Rock and Roll tattoo.

Check out this old school vintage tattoo book. Very cool designs from the past.

Monday

A Colorful Cover Up

The older tattoo was simple comedy and tragedy  masks. The tattoo was not well done and need to be upgraded. Keeping with a color theme that will add to her lower back tattoo, we came up with these colorful roses.
Another successful cover up! There is no sign of the old tattoo.
