Spiritual Tattoo and Mystical Energy

 What does your tattoo mean? What do you want your tattoo to say?
This tattoo is tapping into the energy of the Lotus Flower and Om. Bright colors and movement in the tattoo really bring it out. Strong spirituality, air and water are represented on the inside of the arm. Next addition maybe a Phoenix on the back of the arm to complete a Yin and Yang effect with Fire and Water

Religion and Tattoos

Faith and Religion often play a big role in selection of a tattoo. Early Sunday afternoon a customer came in and wanted an Orthodox cross tattooed across his back as a Prayer for his Grandfather. This is what we came up with to satisfy that tattoo urge.  Interesting detail was put into this design.

Tribal Tattoo An expression of Power

Although this tribal tattoo has no actual tribe that it is from, I often look to the past for inspiration in my designs. Drawing this tattoo seemed easy as it flowed onto the arm. Design the tattoo directly on the skin is always interesting as you may not know where it is going to end up. Most of the tribal designs you have seen on my blog tend to be freehand tattoo designs, created in the moment.

Very Cool Sugar Skull

 

Here is an addition to the left arm tattoo sleeve.

With a strong old school style we elected to add a sugar skull to finish off the top of the arm.On the inside of the arm I did a wild looking Swallow tattoo. Hopefully we will have a photo soon.
