Golden Pagoda, Tattoo Cover up

OK so you got her name on your arm... no problem. Creating a new image is the best way to cover it up. So here is what I did...
Drawn from a picture, I took while in Japan a number of years ago,The Golden Pagoda reflecting in a tranquil pond. When I took the picture I knew that someday I would tattoo the image.

Another reworked tattoo, here once laid a mighty dragon ( but poorly done)but time has shown that some thing are better off fading. I reworked the dragon and added some stars and his signature logo "Chef in Thyme".

Bring on the Irish

Cladagh and knot work on the lower leg. The Irish friendship symbol.

Clean sharp lines are the marks of a good tattoo. Regardless of the style of work, line work and colors should be smooth and solid.Quality work is all you should ever settle for. Tattoos done well will last a life time.

Skull and Roses

This is a little design I drew up sometime ago,it was great to finally have the opportunity to ink it. Skull in a heart with roses and thorns. Custom designed tattoos are a great way to get something unique. Working with your artist will definitely have a positive affect on your new tattoo.

Tigers Tigers Tigers

Tiger running through the water leaves a real splash! This tattoo was done in one long sitting. I don't recommend that everybody sit through a big tattoo in just one sitting, some are better off getting the outline and shading in one session and then the colors done at another time.
Here is a tiger perched high on a ledge, roaring over the lowlands. Roaring a warning call to the valley below.
Tiger hidden in a rose. This was a custom tatto that I drew for the customer, and should not be stolen. Think up your own design and have you tattoo artist draw it up for you.
Maybe this tiger is looking for some fish?

Tinkerbell's Return....Butt

A very nice first tattoo, a classic image of Disney's Tinkerbell. So what do you all think?
Disney has been such an inspiration to the people of the world and his work shows up in tattooing all the time. Hey when you get a tattoo of your favorite image, remember to put the image on in a positive direction. Tinkerbell should be looking and or flying in the same direction as you are. Many times I have seen a good tattoo only to be put off by the fact that it is moving in the wrong direction. So if your tattoo has a direction to it, then it should be place on your body in a positive direction.

Dragon Tattoos

Black and gray dragon with a very long tail complimenting the slender females back. Dragons come in many different forms and are always interesting as tattoos.

Green dragon coming out of the fire, the symbol is Japanese Kanji for Pain

Cool Blue Dragon, done on the forearm. Very fine lines and solid colors, marks of a great tattoo. One of my favorite subjects to tattoo are dragons. Fire dragons and water dragons work well together.

Man's Best Friend

Portrait of his favorite dog. Keeping the memory alive in the skin. German Shepard.
A permanent reminder of a friend,these simple lines capture the real image. A few simple lines, inked into the skin will always be a permanent reminder of a friendship shared.One more .... a favorite Rottie puppy, this was from a picture of the pup at 12 weeks old.

Graveyard Tattoo is growing

Adding and reworking the skulls, making this tattoo more complete. The original Dark Angel and skulls were not as detailed or well done as they could have been. Check out the older post to see the difference.
I added shading and details to complet the image of the old graveyard. The old creepy tree seems to have digested the bones of the past.

The Big Cover Up

Once there was "Jessica" large script writing and now it is a reaper tattoo! I will find the before picture and post later. Just a note, the finished tattoo is looking in the correct direction, too many time I see a well done tattoo only to see the big mistake of having it moving or looking in an opposite direction than the person is.

Dog Rose?

Well it was the first I had heard of it, but the Dog Rose grows wild in England. This was a fun tattoo to do as the tattooed is real happy with the results. A little larger than life roses make a big impact as a tattoo.
Wild flowers will not be tamed. These flowers I did about 4 years ago and recently added the wording. Flowers are great themes for tattoos with bright colors and varying styles.
